"Throughout my career and training as a medical doctor, the need to help gospel ministers press on and keep up the good fight of faith through awareness of their unique emotional and psychological needs has become increasingly evident. That burden crystallized when I had the opportunity to prevent the involuntary hospitalization of an evangelist for simply carrying out the Great Commission.
The systems of the world (medical or otherwise) can seem inhospitable and unwelcoming to God's people, but God makes a way and ensures there is always a remnant in the right place, with the right wisdom, at the right time. A physician needs a compassionate heart and a well-informed mind to promote healing of heart, mind, soul, and strength. I strive to practice a psychiatry reformed by a Christian worldview to assist those in need, especially when they don't know where to turn for help."
